Christian Stellini - Acting Head Coach for a small part of the season

would any of you want the club to consider Stellini for the job?
If Conte leaves, and if Stellini fancies it, why not?
Some people are far far better, temperamentally, without the pressure of being the top dog. Stellini might be one of those people. Or he could relish the chance of managing and do an MJ.

Why did I know the OP was going to post this without even opening the thread.

@Gutter Boy your obsession with getting Antonio out and pochettino or any one else in is concerning. When you stopped posting, because Mourinho was the manager was funny ... this though is getting a bit silly.

I almost think that you were upset last season the way Conte came in and tore it up and getting 4th in the process.

Your fantasy of tossing off to pochettino coming back in some sort of saviour return is delusional.

Why don't you just pipe up and actually back the manager rather than ousting him at any small chance.

You've got to have hope though. That after 3.5 years of boredom and turgidity and negativity and boredom, that an end might soon be in sight. It's masochism to keep tolerating/asking for more pain.

Are you a working class Tory voter by any chance?

A serious answer. His only spell as a head coach, a third tier side called Alessandria, he got sacked in the November of his only season in charge after a disastrous start. He also served a 2 year ban for match fixing. So probably not that suitable.

We beat a rather good Fulham team. Just by one goal, but about as comfortable in the end as a one goal win away to a good team can be.

We beat Preston with relative ease with quite a lot of rotation.

We deservedly beat Emirates Marketing Project at home.

This doesn't give you hope?

You thought the game yesterday was turgid, boring and negative?

You got gazza on ignore? He was replying to him.

Nope. Don't have anyone on ignore. Just didn't understand why there's not a reason for hope at the moment and replied to GB.

Could have understood it some weeks back, though I was still hopeful at that time. Now, why not hope?

You are just brilliant, I have to admit very unique to say the least.

3.5 years of boredom? Surely you have a life outside of football? I thought last season was great actually and the stats don't lie for goals scored and conceded.

You may not like tactics and patterns of play aspect of the game, but luckily you are stuck in a minority in wanting Conte out at any opportunity given ... you even managed to sneak one in while we beat Emirates Marketing Project? It's pathetic.

You asking me if I am a middle class working tory, what has any of that got to do with Conte? If you want to know my political views I think both tories and the imbeciles called the Labour Party are a bunch of bent departs.

Stellini has done well, good to see. Probably an important part of the backroom squad. But this win had Conte's fingerprints and good work over the last year and a bit all over it.
Maybe Conte tactics with a Stellini personality might work better? Unless yesterday's performance was the team going out there to win one for the Gipper and had nothing to do with Stellini's man management. Who knows...

I hope he didn't lose matches he was trying to fix a win for!

Conte is a proven winner, across multiple clubs. We've played at a similar high level under him before. Stellini has the smallest of sample sizes, and then working with a squad, team and system Conte and him has been working on for over a year now.

We had a week off. We had a game before that where we could rotate a bit. We had our best and most important players back and getting there with match fitness. That would be my explanation, not that Stellini made the difference.
