If i owned a football club and had had Eriksen scouted for the last few months of the season I would not touch him with a barge pole.

No I do understand his point. Eriksen had a long season. Last season he almost single handedly got Denmark into the World Cup, then playing through the summer in Russia. He must of had 50 odd games for us last season? After Xmas and in the CL final he was not at his best. But even then he is still vital for us.
