And compounded by fact they are 9s point off CL football which means another year, likely, out the top competition that all players aspire to

If they draw this they probably need 38-40 points from their last 17 games to get top 4

Given how few they've scored under Potter, that would take a huge turnaround

Yep, they knew exactly what their finances were before they went on the ultimate spending spree. They could have asked the prem before they did that and then spent accordingly. Think they might have been banking on a few leaving in jan, gallagher and ziyech being examples of it fudging up. But they have a £105m worth of wiggle room for such eventualities. Go over that it's down to you.

Hit them. Hit them hard. About time we started trying to sort out the game. At the moment people think they can get away with anything.

But still, I like the thought of that story being true.

And the latest gossip story about Chelsea wanting to get Osimhen in the summer is just obscene.

The problem is that UEFA only banned 7/8 year contracts after Chelsea's spending spree, so basically after the horse has bolted
