Yeah, more adding to it than against it, it’s not sustainable, there is wall in front of them and they are just increasing speed towards it.
I’d be terrified if it was us.

has been yes, but when they have 400 players in the first team squad are youngsters still going to want to be there?
Tbf they get paid well, get coached well and if they don't make it at chelsea they usually get a decent move.

The other thing to bare in mind, is Chelsea do very well in sales...I think he said £600m + in recent times (can't remember the period)

That's 9 quality attacking midfielders and there are probably some on loan who I'm forgetting about. It shows what us and others are up against.
When is someone in the media gonna call them out for their ridiculous dealings. It does the game no good at all.

I'm just too old to understand modern football or footballers, I know the money is crazy but as a player surely you would want to play every week? I never saw this coming when substitutes for injury were first allowed. I never like it when it was rolled out to club and park football.

"Interesting! I can't explain it, I have no idea. But if the numbers are true then it's impressive," he said.
"I can't see investment stopping in the future, so that means we have to do it as well," he said.
"I believe in coaching, developing and team building 100 per cent. But meanwhile the managers out there, they are all good and they believe in that as well.
"So if they start spending then if we don't spend, you will have a problem. I am not sure Chelsea can do that for the next 10 years though."
