Champions League 2018/19

It’s actually a pretty sickening draw to be honest, the worst we could possibly have got and we have a league game with them straight after!

Would have loved any of the other European sides.
 
That draw is so disappointing, although for me there was a feeling of inevitability that we would meet an English team. Either of Utd or Liverpool would have been preferable if it had to go that way.

It takes the gloss off of having European football back at (N)WHL.
I also hate that it is so close to playing City in the league.

But.. we weren’t a million miles from getting something from our Wembley game v City. Anything is possible.
Yet I feel more than a little bit scared at the prospect.

Sadly that's football folks. I started watching us lose in the '60s I finally got easier to in '90s.
But it never stops hurting.
I just stopped reacting to it.
Back in the 60's the lady above us in our flats knocked on my parents front door with blood streaming down her face. She was beaten by her teenage son because his football team lost, he also wrecked the flat. Never forgot it.

I predicted we'd get Juve.

And we will. Helluva semi final.
 
Worst possible draw. We get a team with no European heritage who we have a bad record against. Any of the others would have a plus point, there is none with City.
 
I think we have a much better chance than people think

Their s brilliant side but their games will be coming thick and fast and their fans do no ready well to the champions league (they hate UEFA)

Need to keep in the tie at home and frustrate them at the brickihad...

Ideally they won’t have Fernandinho to kick us off the park and get away with it

Maybe having proper refs instead of the PL dross could benefit us
