Champions League 2017/18

Juve were very poor last night the worst I've seen them play for a very long time.
Funny because Real are not THAT good this season.

I hope some learned from the Juve defeat. We really were very close going through, sad!
After what we did to Chavski on Sunday, I have no doubt that our players will be relishing the opportunity to stick it to Chiellini & co next season

I think they were worse against us during 1st half at Wembley.
I'm very glad they were trashed like that yesterday: with their sh*t-mouth big-nose Chiellini, whose tackle led to Ronaldo's epic goal; with Dybala's awful dive and stupid red card ("new Messi" lmao). Juventus were a disgrace last night. Always pressured the referee like they did against us, but got fck all. Couldn't even score against shacky Real Madrid defence at home. Rode their luck off against us surely, but still were saved two times by the bar.

We were basically sloppy in defence and didn't track their midfield runners and we lost. All the rest is fluff!

Chiellini has been a world class act for years but is coming to the end of career now. The size of his nose and all the name calling is irrelevant at best.

One of the biggest reasons we beat Chelsea on Sunday was our focus and calm temperament. One of the reason we lost to Juve was we got sloppy and lost that focus. I dont want Spurs to "stick it" to anybody!
I just want Spurs to win.

True, although Lamela made good use of the Argentinian dark arts to wind up Fabregash which is the kind of cynical play we need to be able to utilise when facing the top clubs; just as Juventus did to Son

It's all part of football and ALL teams 'can' and do it on occasions. Only as long as we/they realise the costs if (which highly unlikely by our refs) its seen by the officials it 'could' cost us the match! Then it's not quite so clever or smart to leave one on Fabregas. Dele is wonderful with attitude to all the fluff and babble like this around the game! He ignores it! Think we could all learn a thing or two from this lad!

Alexis Sanchez might say otherwise.
I think Dele did get booked that time, but let's not pretend he's become some paragon of virtue. Maybe he's just getting better at the 'dark arts' part of his game.

Why is it that commentators ONLY shut up when they play you'll never win anything at Anfield?
Other clubs have club songs that are played before games, but they never shut up then, only at Liverpoo. It annoys me endlessly. It's like it's holy or something. It's not. It's just a fudging stolen song from a musical ffs!
