Do have to say though that Saudi Sportswashing Machine so far haven’t spent lavishly.

They have just spent wisely and more sensibly than we have

Only because of PSR
They can't spend lavishly because they make fudge all revenue wise
 
Should mean the scouse clams make a quick exit from the pubs so I can go out and enjoy my night without having to listen to the brick they come out with

This is true. They can’t atm cos of FFP

But I still think they have spent what they can wisely. It hasn’t been lavish and it has them performing better than us
 
I think I've only mentioned once on here before but I'm half Geordie and there's 6 members of my family at Wembley today. I'm actually quite emotional which I wasn't expecting.
Saudi Sportswashing Machine is a great part of the world and the Geordies are great people, they deserve this. H'way the lads!
 
I've enjoyed hearing 'No Salah' in reference to his disappearance in the biggest games.
Sadly, I think I'm right in saying his only goal in a final was a distinctly dodgy penalty...
