last train back to the smoke is at 10pm

so if game goes to extra time you are bolloxed unless they hold the train..

Decent draw. A game we really SHOULD be winning and hopefully our second/third string team is up for it and look as promising as I heard they did against Carlisle.

Good to see chelsea draw man Utd, at least one big team will be joining the likes of Emirates Marketing Project and Everton out of the competition which is good for us.

Swindon and Reading came withing a whisker of winning, so it could have looked even better.

Supporters travelling by train to our Capital One Cup tie against Norwich City on Wednesday night should be aware that in the case of extra time at Carrow Road, an additional train has been provided for the return to London by Greater Anglia.

That train will depart from Ipswich at 23.55, so fans would catch the 23.05 train from Norwich to Ipswich and then change at Ipswich for the onward connecting service to London Liverpool Street.

to be honest even with a 7.45pm ko as long as the game finishes in 90 mins there is plenty enough time to get the 10pm train, as the ground is a short walk , 8-10mins away from the train station

Oh yes, but what i'm hinting at is the lack of some of the bigger guns left in the comp, which could give us a better chance if we win tonight.
And with 3 our last 3 draws in the comp all being away, by law of averages I'm hoping we get a home draw, if we do progress.

Predictions for 1/4 final draw....

Chelsea or Man United v Bradford City (naturally)
Liverpool or Swansea v Middlesborough
Arsenal v Leeds United
Norwich or Tottenham v Aston Villa
 
Are the semi's still 2 legs?
Touch wood we get there but if we do then i'd rather play a manure or l'arse over one game (less chance of getting screwed over lol)

Yes, the Semis are home & away and settled during the second leg with extra time and penalties if needed.

So stupid, they should just move them to a neutral ground. I know it's only one game, but I bet managers would welcome the reduction of games.

Against Championship and League Two sides, not so shocking.

Norwich - Villa was such an obvious draw, Lambert returning and all that.
