Burnley fighting to stay in the league, will be up for a proper battle and on our current form we will be tested.

Sheff Utd gone already, will they play for their pride, who knows - we should have enough to comfortably beat them, but what we should do recently has been a long throw from what we can do.

Correct, I don't think we will. Our players are drained and fragile. We've come unstuck many times against teams like this.
Even when Poch was in charge we would often lose to West Brom and Stoke and Sunderland.

Well in an ideal world, tomorrow. Villa get spanked by 4 or 5 at home to Liverpool, and Arsenal lose at United

We can then try and fluke a draw v City without putting the title in Arsenals hands

Going into the last day. City would just need a point v West Ham, we beat Sheffield 3-0 or 4-1 and Villa lose 1-0 at Palace.


Somehow, I dont know how, we are still in with an outside chance of 4th

Depends on the Arsenal result tomorrow. If they win then I want Villa to beat Liverpool so we can no longer get 4th and can therefore focus on bending over for Emirates Marketing Project.
 
I don't give a crap about Arsenal. We should do our best to get 4th. Villa are not CL material, in spite of the fact they are sitting 4th. They have been lucky and outperformed their xPts by a whopping 14 pts. And they won't be much better next year. We, on the other hand, will be significantly better.

Have you seen them play much outside of their capitulation against us? I'm interested in why you think we'd be much better in the CL as well.

XG / X points is very interesting but the goal difference and actual points are probably more relevant for analytical purposes you know, like what has actually happened in reality.
