Bryan Mbeumo

doubtful how can we afford mbuemo AND one or two more glaring gaps to fill with experience.

probably better consolidating now and if all goes well, go break our transfer record in 2-3 years time.
Depends on what other "fixes" can be found perhaps. If we can find solutions in other areas of need that aren't THAT expensive maybe we can splurge on Mbuemo.

But if it's Mbuemo and then a couple of not quite solutions to other problems probably better to spread it out a bit more.

He wasn't exactly cheap, but another couple VdV style signings. Real solutions, quick impact, but not ridiculously expensive would be fantastic. And possibly allow for a Mbuemo?

I still think it’s an odd choice for his next move, but money talks and perhaps there aren't really any better teams than Spurs and Manure interested in him.

Wages and contract length, United will probably end up paying him the 250K/week on a 5 year contract, he's set for life

And no, no one bigger is coming in for him

Good question, personally i think we have enough options to play wide and would rather we spent the money he would cost on a DM/ other posistions.

To me, it's DM. RW, Any side FB (Spence can cover other side), plus cover for if anyone goes, e.g. CF if Richi moves on

I wonder what other RWF we are interested in? Seems weird he is linked but no one else in the position (apart from Kudus maybe, but that seemed more like his agent putting out stories)
Depends if the link is true?

It could quite simply be 2+2 because Frank is here.

Or if we know what United have offered and don't think we can get near it (especially wages)...we count ourselves out UNLESS we hear positive noises from the player.

Not sure how "interested" we actually are, I think there's a lot of speculation because Frank is our manager and a little bit of agent bluffing trying to force more money out of Manure.

Yeah, we don't really know anything, of course. Could just be speculation, and as someone wrote, just two and two being put together for a quick story now that Frank is here.

Must admit i would not be that bothered if he did not come here.
I'm not bothered because I don't think we've ever truly gone in for him. Conversely I do rate him as a player and he's someone I've wanted to join us for quite a few years as I've mentioned on here in the past.

So I'm a bit sanguine because it hasn't looked like we were ever going for him and I do think he's the better player between himself, Johnson and Semenyo if we imagine that's the pot that we are drawing from.

I'm still hoping for Dibling. We seemed close in the January window and I'm hoping we're just waiting for the next financial year next week to finalise it.

As a genuine left footed incutting creative player, I think he'd be ideal competition for/would complement Johnson on that flank. And HG too.

I am not saying he is not a good player [ price is a bit high though] i just believe we have enough wingers and i believe we have bigger holes to fill in the team.

Mbeumo himself doesn’t interest me as much as who Frank can turn into OUR Mbeumo.

What I mean really is.. The wonders he did with many of the players he was given/bought at Brentford is so amazing I’m just excited in general for whatever player/s we buy (or maybe even don’t!) for that position.

We have no idea atm of how Frank wants to play with us and that in itself is exciting imo.
