Was at the game at home to Bolton where we were down to ten men, him up front on his own bringing down long ball hopeful punts upfield was a sight to behold. From a purely technically gifted perspective, I don't think we have had many/any better....

When I got home, everyone was talking about Edgar being spotted in the stands. It was on the local news in Berkshire.
Also, turns out Bobby Convey wasn't world class. He wasn't the new Freddy Adu after all.
I was at that friendly too - I'm sure he was spotted in the stands by some of us in the away end

he's definitely up there in terms of signings isn't he? Klinsmann, Davids, Modric, Van der Vaart and Bale (resigning) probably my top 5 "I'm so excited I could wee" signings.
