I still dont see why safe standing can't be achieved with current all seater stadiums. Everyone has a ticket and has a seat number, it seems pretty safe when everyone is standing in their designated spot, right?
 
I'm hoping that we have the foresight to install those new rail seats or something similar in the new 'kop' stand for the proposed stadium. I think the reintroduction of standing will happen at some point. No harm being prepared.

The ones that are made to collapse yeah? Saw a mini documentary about the pros of them and they looked to be the obvious solution and you're very right, it would be extremely short sighted of us not to at least prepare for what seems like the inevitable.
