I thought the Stone Roses (or rather Brown) had a reputation for being a bit **** live?

Well, I've not seen the Roses since Ally Pally in '89 so I am happy to take the risk. Mind you, the sound at A.P. was very poor.

GNR - Appetite for destruction

I've seen the current incarnation of GNR twice, and have seen Slash live twice and Velvet Revolver live once, and all five shows were great, but I would imagine seeing all of the original line up together and on form playing the greatest album of all time would be f'kin epic!

I saw them in Istanbul but with Matt on drums and Gilby instead of Izzy. Was awesome. I hope you don't take this the wrong way but Guns ceased to be when Axl went rogue. There is no Guns without Slash and Duff.
