Well, we were much better in the second half. The players deserve credit for that. I didn't hold much hope for the penalty shootout, as we didn't have any penalty takers out there, whilst Chelsea did. We had a couple of chances to score a second. Those were the ones we needed to take.
 
Showed some fight and good defending.

But never really in it.

That first goal was a killer and such an absolutely ridiculous one to concede.

I would love us to have a go on Sunday. I know I’m in the minority but I think we have a chance. Our best players will have returned by then too.
 
After an utterly dismal first half, I’m proud of how we played second half. Proper ballsy and we deserved to get to pens. fudging stomached by that though. Especially against that shower of clams. I’d nearly rather lose to Woolwich or the Dippers.

To paraphrase Balotelli - why always us?

Our grand chairman and the magnificent record-breaking work he did in the summer, however, made sure that the odds were always against them.

Sigh. And so, we go trophyless for another season. And it hurts like a b*tch that our trophy record is so utterly, utterly pathetic under ENIC.

Is it a lot of games? I mean we played 3 games to get to the Semis and have played 5 games total. You play 6 games to win it, same as the FA cup and much less than the 13 games you'd have to play to win the CL.
