Everything now should be geared towards being prepped for the Frankfurt games - if we need to rest half the starters from last night to aid recovery, which leads to a defeat then so be it

Just play the academy kids till the Frankfurt game. We can't risk more injuries

Yes, but to be ready for the Frankfurt games we need our best players in top form. To do that, they have to play together at some point.

I do agree that we need to check player by player which ones shouldn't start this weekend though. Udogie needs to come back in. Sonny shouldn't play 2 games in a week, especially if he's off to Asia next week. Sarr played 90 so he can probably rotate with Biss.

What I'm saying though is whatever 11 take the pitch on Sunday, they've previously played together. They train together every day, so it would be nice to see some cohesion and some competitiveness. Being as bad as AZ away and B'mouth home won't be acceptable to me.

Data suggests our xBreakdowns are 3.2 before the first Frankfurt game. Which type of players should we be sacrificing?

Yeah I'm not onboard with GBs post - players that need game time should get it and those that need resting or their minutes managing should get it - that should be priority over fielding strongest XI for the league games is all I'm saying. I want us to be arriving at the EL games in as close to peak readiness as is possible

That should always be the case, the number of injuries and suspensions have reduced the chances to do it so far.

Does that mean 3.2 players are likely to be injured before the Frankfurt game or something else? If so, does it factor in Kulu, Danso and Richi potentially returning.

It's never "which Spurs" mate

- The quality of our game is affected by player availability and fatigue
- The result is affected by how effectively the opposition take advantage of the unnecessary chances we will give them

If Fulham turn up and take their chances, we lose ..

Well we only have Dragusin, Danso and Richi missing right now. Obviously, a few are feeling their way back as well. Player availability and fatigue for me isn't such an issue with a squad as big as ours. Levy doesn't spend as much as he has to even hear that excuse with this squad once it has normal levels of injuries. I wouldn't if I were him.

As for your second point, I think that is what we're all intrigued to see whether Ange can solve. If he doesn't find tactical ways to bring it down to normal levels, then he isn't the right man for the job in my opinion.

Looks like Fulham's recent form is about either winning or losing. They're there for the taking, even though I'd have them as favourites.
 
Not really fair to judge our defensive solidity whilst we are stuck with Romero and VDV, we need to wait until our first choice CB’s are back…
