Chelsea have taken a never before seen approach to squad building these last few years - it is not a comparison with any merit.

If we want to compare squads then let's do so with clubs who we are actually looking to compete with at this stage of our rebuild - we're year 2 of the Ange rebuild, I think most reasonable people would expect us to be atound 5th-7th in the table and pushing for top 4 if things went ahead of schedule. Competing with the likes of Villa & Saudi Sportswashing Machine

Chelsea did something unconventional that doesn't then rule them out as a comparison. We could have also followed their model obviously have chosen not to. That doesn't mean a comparison has no merit, it's just a very different approach and one that may or may not work long term.

Two goals are hell of a lot of gift a side, don’t you agree? Two senseless pens when no shot was even on. I think we win that match without the two stupid tackles. You obviously want to paint a more dire picture. I’m not sure it’s logical tho as the stats back up.

Isn't your premise that Ange has a better squad? Quite simply: now, with the injuries we have, he doesn't. Yet you are not wanting to factor that in, and want him gone, on the basis of the squad he has available now.

I'm not really gonna get involved in the direct discussion but all squads have injuries at times and those previous Tottenham squads also had periods of horrific injury. When you're comparing them you can't pick and choose our current injury depleted state versus a hypothetical perfect fitness squad of the past with everyone fit. No squad we've had was ever all fit, definitely not for Harry. I think many are forgetting Harry's squad always had bloody injury problems of various types.

We score loads of goals, we know that, that’s how we play but the flip side is we are far too open at the other end. Did you see the Arsenal game yesterday? How come they didn’t give up many chances to a very good Fulham side but we play them at home and they outplay us? Saying we deserved to win when we conceded 4 goals and could have conceded more is like rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic.

Be an adult, it's a minimum ask when you are being paid >$10M a fudging year. There is nothing that happened with Jose/Conte that they didn't know was part of the deal prior to joining, however their collective ego's couldn't handle the fact that (regardless of mitigating factors/context), they failed. I said they got lucky because they didn’t create as much as us

On Arsenal by the way… they had an xg of 2 yesterday but 1.7 form set piece
last year they average 1.3 goals from open play and half that this year
Arsenal did however concede the same about of goals to Fulham as we did

I don't think that's how facts work. They might not have got the first pen and still scored 15 from open play. The stadium lights might have turned off.

Nothing is factual apart from what occured.

It was the penalty that gave them the extra lift
That’s not saying they were the better side with the ball

They would have eventually scored even without the penalty and the penalty came about due to the flow of the game. I said at the time, a 2nd goal for them was coming.
