I have been a big fan of Ange and have supported him all the way in hope that it will come good but i'm slowly leaning towards Ange out now. Reading recent posts in recent OMT's it seems quite a few want to freshen it up. I know some comments are through frustration and after people have cooled down they may see it with a level head so i decided to do the inevitable poll to see where we stand as a fan base / community.

I'm not exactly Ange out but I can't see him making it work here to be brutally honest - however atm I'm wanting to give him the season to see if he can figure out what it is he needs to do to adapt to this level of football (and show that he can do it)

He wasn't qualified for the job and there were better more proven (at this level) options out there. I can't see him creating a consistent team in the PL. There's no sign of progress for me, we are probably if anything more inconsistent than last season.

It's an out from someone that was sceptical from day one.

I’ve been critical of his system for a long time, even if it worked I’d hate it, and his attitude to the game.

I feel like it’s pretty obvious it will never work.

It’s only going to get worse from here on in.

Out for me. I’d do it tomorrow.

I take the point on sticking with a manager for a longer period, but it has to be a better manger than this.

Decide after Xmas period - the lge is taking shape now. Two different results and the story is different.
Come the start of Jan we could be 4th or 15th + neither would be a surprise.
It's a very very tight league this season.

My concern now is the same as when he was appointed - will his tactics work at the very top level, where chances are few and far between.

What worries me is that Ange seems reluctant to adapt to find a way in games - everyone else does, from the top to the bottom.

Out.

He's too stubborn and seems unwilling to change

He seems to lack the flexibility to be a PL manager, it's a bit of a duff argument I know, but could you seen him managing further down the league to any success and being able to change tactically?

Mate when has this ever happened under levy? You want a pair of Nike air max? Here you go have some Dunlops …

Hard to argue. Dunlops...LOL...makes me think of the few times I ever walked into that c u n t Ashley's sports shops looking for a pair of trainers and realized that I was shopping in another, cheap-option era!

Ange in.

The next month is going to be extremely difficult. Injuries, fixture congestion and some tough games coming and the squad that's available already looking fatigued. Ange won't deviate from his principles and park the bus.

Think most likely there will be quite a few more disappointing results and performances in our near future. I'm not sure he gets through that and still has the players, directors/board and fans on his side. But I'm Ange in and quite a lot would have to change for me to change my opinion on the next month.

Firmly in! Some people have forgotten that the road to success requires hard work and painful results will happen.
You need to see the driver accelerating up that road to be confident of the destination. This team is like a BMW335d with a clogged DPF. There's glimpses of magic, but its basically f***ed.

Ange out for me .

I do feel for him a bit. I think our squad is not great. Our forward options are mid table players. Son looks finished. This was my view in the summer. We needed to sign some quality and went for youth. Ive done this to death in transfer thread.

Yes some will go we spent. Yes we did. Really need to question the fees spent on Johnson , Richy and Solankie.

So maybe getting rid of Ange won’t change the vicious cycle but he looks lost.

There’s a man who sits higher up who needs to go in my view.

Like I said we may spend lots of money these days but it’s not buying players that are ready to go. We buy players of a certain profile which suits levy. Levy has done great to get us where we are but he needs to go and give the club to someone who is hungry for success on the pitch rather than being smug about making lots of money.

We don’t spend money to back the current manager, rather long term values etc. Waitrose money spent at Lidl.

Exactly this. We gain nothing from just sacking him now.
