He is wasting no time. He was already two years head with the court situation. It's not even a case of 'will it/won't it' in terms of benefits for the American people. I just hope it doesn't hurt those who he thought he cared too much on the way out. That 'advisory' committee he's given Musk and the other billionaire is as honest as it gets, because anyone looking at that and thinking the benefits will be for anyone other than billionaires is truly a fudging idiot.

This Hegseth guy as Sec of Defense is another piece of work. A Christian far-right type and of the worst flavour. He is part of the reformed reconstructionist strand and these charming men are for the expansion of Christendom . So being in charge of the most powerful army in history might help with this new crusade (yep he has also has Crusader tats). Who knows where this is leading.

I am surprised to see members of the GOP saying things like, "This wasn't on my bingo card." tossers. Trump literally told EVERYONE the sort of brick he was going to pull and execute. This 'surprise' is nearly as galling as the potential appt itself. Now let's see if any of these 'not my bingo card' tossers exercise their power and make sure it gets blocked. I won't be holding my breath...
