Or they may grant a stay and then deny cert which is probably the next most likely outcome according to some legal interweb folk. Or scotus may take arguments and decide to rule with the courts. I agree that it's the least likely, although I still don't know why they would have intentionally exempted this from their previous decisions when they could have covered both in one go.

The most likely scenario is to stay and delay until after the election. If Trump wins then they don't have to do anything.
 
Honestly, How have we not moved on from Trump and Biden a long time ago!? It's mental that either of them are anywhere near politics

I think you’d be surprised to hear that a lot of republicans who vote for Trump don’t actually like him. They just don’t want to vote for the democrats and see him as a bulwark against them. The best outcome is that he dies before the election. That way the system won’t have to ban him from running which will enrage the loonies on the far right which won’t end well for anyone. I think he’s going to win the next election sadly. Unless Biden steps down and Gavin Newsom runs instead.

Probably better that he wins then dies. That way we avoid getting both Trump and Biden.

I still think he’s going to cause more damage if he wins than Biden would. Trump is the only president in my lifetime who doesn’t lead, he divides, doesn’t even try and bring people together. He’ll ban more journalists from the Oval Office, he’s talked about shooting shoplifters, he put people in place to overturn roe v wade. And he doesn’t believe in democracy or fair elections. He doesn’t do losing. You’d think he would be used to it having had two failed marriages, 4 magazines, an airline, steaks, vodka, 3 casinos.

Is it a case of ignoring something because it effects someone on "your side"

Both Trump and Biden should be in prison.

Hopefully Obama, the wife gets the nomination and it settles down a bit out there.

Can you imagine the outrage if trump was president, war in Ukraine, Gazza, NK threatening, houthi attacks, China threatening Taiwan.
Trump is a clam of the highest order, but let's not pretend any of others much different.

First Post in this thread was me calling him that. But the reason he exists is because liberals can not be honest about their own.

It wasn’t the same thing, Biden handed them back as soon as he was asked, Trump showed them to his Russian handler.
