It's a good squad. Couple of thoughts
I never rated the 40 year old Brad Friedel that played for Spurs. Way past his best and was very lucky to get the shirt. He never left his line and controlled his box, he never put his body where it hurt and he certainly couldn't manage shots into the corners of his goal. He'd be way down the list. Not saying Ian Walker was top 3, but I'd certainly consider him as club trained 3rd choice as Sheringham isn't. Gomes vs Robbo is also a tough choice.
Full-backs. I don't think Ziege did enough for Spurs. He was constantly injured and never gave the club as much as prime Rose or Ekotto did. Rose is also club trained.
Midfield is a tough one. Wanyama was perhaps too brief but his 16/17 season was phenomenal. Dier also contributed a lot in midfield. Then there is Anderton. It's hard to leave him out.
As I said above, Barmby is perhaps the only questionable choice. I loved the guy when he was a Spurs player. Does he get in ahead of VDVaart, Keane or Defoe is a tough question. Obviously Walker (Ian) and Rose can be the club trained.
So amending your list.....
Best that have played for Spurs or when AT Spurs? If former, out goes Sandro, Barmby and Ginola, in comes Parker, Klinsmann and Anderton for me. Rose->Ziege. Robinson->Friedel. Van Der Vaart->Popescu. Plus you-know-who in front of Romero. Off the top of my head.Looked back and the last time there was thread on all time XI was done was 2012. So due a refresh. But with a twist. What’s your 25 Man squad but using the existing squad rules for UEFA where you need 4 Homegrown players and 4 Club Trained.
