I think many songs are often destroyed by being played ever 14 minutes in repeat for a month. That is the trouble with pop music, which every now and then actually produces decent tunes

Very true I actually thought 19 was a much better album and barely anyone over here heard of her and now the brick is overplayed so much I can't stand some of those songs of 21. That being said she has an amazing voice isn't her fault that her stuff has been run into the ground YIDDOOOO!!

I just don't see what all the fuss is about. Yeah she has a great voice, but I don't see what makes her different from any other female singer. Amy Winehouse had a better voice IMO.

Michelle McManus.

Arguably had the biggest backing anyone new to the industry could have when she won Pop Idol. Sang songs simalar to Adele. Failed.

Adele's works because mainly the songs are her own and everyone recognises the pain, not because she is fat.

I've summarised my thoughts on the matter well enough in that post, if you think that her appearance has nothing to do with her success then it is your right to, and with my knowlege, albeit limited, I can't put together a better case to change that opinion, and no one has provided a case which would make me alter my opinion so we may as well move on.
