    Not that I'm bitter...

I'm at peace with that campaign. We scraped through into the knockouts because Barca fielded a much weakened side. We were the lesser side versus both City and Ajax but somehow won. Then we get to the final and had not done the right prep for the heat and humidity, which could have meant...

    Mohammed Kudus

Which of course begs the question why Palace bought him. If what you're saying is that it is easy to get goals out of Brennan then why can't his new club unlock it. What is also clear is that at some stage we'll need to unlock Kudus's and Odobert's goal threat.

We actually know very little about Munn. Lot's of fan conjecture but nobody wants to give any detail that has any substance behind it. Perhaps he was just like Prince in the 90's.......ahead of his time.

    Dele interview

Can you believe Dele is 30 today? Happy b'day to a great guy. It's still this for me.... Hugo Kyle, Toby, Jan, Danny Mousa, Vic Christian, Dele, Sonny Harry

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

See the toxic BBC are still running with RDZ/Greenwood stories even today. They can't even create a headline about West Ham winning without using our name in it. There's clearly no media agenda against Spurs

Good point. I would say the same about Tel. I know he's a leftie but he can still play on the right. The player I've taken issue with is Muani. Whilst he is new to the PL, he is 27 years old. He should have applied himself much better at Spurs and given his managers more to work with. I can...

    Mohammed Kudus

You might be right but I'm not sure Brennan was even 2nd choice backup to Kudus in Frank's setup. He used him early doors on the left and he wasn't a complete disaster there. If we remember the early commentary on Frank's Spurs we were saying that the right side looked pretty decent but we had...

To use that old cliche we can only take one game at a time. The other obvious cliche is that we have 7 cup finals. The problem is that before when we were taking one game at a time it never felt like the boys were playing a cup final. It didn't feel like they were going to crawl off that pitch...

    Mohammed Kudus

I genuinely don't know the answer to this but Johnson has had a strange old season. Across the 2 clubs he's played for this season he's looked anything but the goalscoring player of the 24/25 season. He's not yet registered a goal for Palace and is barely getting an7 7/10 ratings in games. I...

Dorrington? Sort of lost track what's happened to him. Gonna be really interesting watching how things shape up with these younger guys over the next couple of seasons.

I'm with Munn on this one. He has been crystal clear that he oversaw the review and presented a set of recommendations to his seniors. It was also crystal clear that they declined some of his recommendations which required budget and specialisation. I reckon our THFC medical team was suffering...

I actually think it is an incredibly tough team selection. RDZ mentions that he's watched a bunch of footage of us. He would therefore see that Danso has been one of our better players. I think the mistake Tudor made was not going with his own preferred formation and that was a back 3. He had...

This is a little double edged for me. I'm pretty certain I would have rather had Phillips over Davies and Dragusin if selecting a PL team in a situation where we'd lost 2 of our main 3. I very much doubt Dragu or Davies would be keeping Phillips out of the Stoke team. He's having a superb...

I guess if the THFC comms people are the ones releasing the RDZ training vids then they would have an incentive not to declare Kudus in them.

Using the "clear and obvious" determination over the laws has been the biggest failure in VAR.

They are sort of mutually exclusive in my mind. You rarely find single root causes in football. The officiating adds into the mix unfortunately for us this season. All we've done is sent a letter to the PL. We should have gone in a lot harder on Webb's lot.

I can tell you what is worse than the CL final. If we get relegated and we can prove that PGMOL was the difference between staying up and going down. They clearly can be based on what we've seen this season from Webb's lot.

Are you saying that referees can change the course of history with their incompetence and biases. Surely not :tearsofjoy:
