Yeah, apologies as well. I just jumped on a topic. Wasn't even thinking what thread I was on.

As always, it will depend on their actual age when looking at our club. We will settle down to a first eleven and our youngsters will probably be Udogie 23/24, Kinsky 23/24, Fernandez 22/23. So a 21 year old might look at Spurs and think that they will get a lot of action at Spurs if they join...

I think you have to look deeper at the profile of the squad. It's clear to see in the defensive ranks we only have a single U21, Gray, who is a utility RB but mostly a midfielder. Udogie and Kinsky form the other part of the younger contingent at 23. We have stacked it with older players like...

    Mateus Fernandes Official

This is where we need to launch the propaganda campaign. I would genuinely get that senior analyst in at Spurs and start publishing the referee's performance against the laws of the game. Take Pawson yesterday. He should have had A things to do in the 95 mins as the upholder of the laws He...

    Luka Vuskovic

I guess the devil's advocate question is how much playing time would Vuskovic had got within our 1 PL point from 3 league games? He's just played every minute for Brighton and his whoscored average rating over those 3 games was 7. JPvH's isn't bad at 6.8, whilst VDV's is 6.85.

It totally feels like the right place for your conversation. It's a well known concept that when you're spending a lot of time by yourself then you're liable for more thinking, or even over-thinking, and that can be quite a burden when your mental health isn't optimal. You can sit in this...

    Andy Robertson

Interesting start to life as a Spurs player. I think what we have is a very front foot full-back. It's years and years of habits based on a long tenure in a successful attacking side. Personally, I don't think Robbo was ever a "great" defender. He doesn't read situations and he doesn't do...

Does the concern now become that we've seemingly paused signing these younger players?

Our big money transfers were JPvH, Fernandez, Tonali, Savio and Marmoush. Which one do we sacrifice (i.e. not bought) to have kept Vuskovic? It's not as if we could have kept Vuskovic and not bought Senesi. It would have been a van Hecke trade-off. I was actually gutted to see Vusko and...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Was the difference perhaps that against Brentford we were very entitled. We expected the opposition to let us play as our manager had instructed us toi and when Brentford got in our face we didn't own it. I thought today we owned that much better and got stuck in more. One thing I would like to...

***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v The Garibaldis (will Marinakis eat his own club with a cuppa?), Sat Sept 5th, City Ground, 3pm***

The way to think about things is imagining that exact same game but we won or lost. If Marmoush had buried that chance and we come out of Notts with 3 points then we've turned a massive corner and it would be onwards and upwards from here. If we had lost to the Williams goal, we'd be bemoaning...

To be fair you're speaking very consistently with what our manager is saying about our final third play. The reason I say this is that we had this situation with Frank last year and he would never talk straight. We had the opposite problem with Ange with our defence and he just ignored the...

Not at all. This one is subtle. There are so many roles on the medical and conditioning side and every player needs to be managed uniquely. A player like Udogie has had 6 muscle injuries and 2 knee injuries, so who is RDZ to tell an expert that his player should play 95 mins? They've worked...

It seems that RDZ's subs were based on working with the medical team on individual player plans. Isn't it great to finally have a manager who partners with his medical team?

    Rodrigo Bentancur

To be fair, if he's selected to drop in then that is his job. I thought our box defending today was outstanding from all the guys.

I do think there was some fantastic defending within that performance though. It's easy not to notice when a player shuts down a shot and gets a block in. It's easy to miss how many big headers we won on our 6 yard line today. It's also fair to say that Pawson didn't use his whlste and his cards...

The one thing I have liked about today is that we've only made one change to the defence / midfield shield. The rest have been attack minded players. Very bad day at the office for Glasner. Apparently we're easy to beat and he only got a nil nil. He should be thoroughly ashamed.

Van Hecke has been fouled every time he has jumped to win his headers. Not a single yellow considered and sometimes not even getting the free kick.
