    We will never know as at that point we hadn’t made any signings. It’s like people think the only reason we struggled was due to injuries and not the players being below the required standard. I’ve never seen a worse crop of wingers and forwards at Spurs than the ones we currently have.

    I’m talking about before the window opened, posters were still bullish. Now they’ve we’ve made some good signings I’m more optimistic. I would still however like to see some forwards. I’ve said many times I think our forwards are crap.

    Fair point. But I still stand by my view that there's a disconnect between how highly some people on this forum rate our players and how good they actually are. The reality is that if our players were even half as good as some people make them out to be, we'd be much higher up the league table...
