I think the market for attackers is quite difficult atm - and as a result it seems you have to pay top dollar for players that aren't top level or likely to even reach that level.

With that in mind I'd be happy with looking outside of the established players if they have been scouted properly and come recommended

Pay top dollar then. I’d rather we go in to the season with Tel playing LW and Moore as backups than bringing in a top tier LW and Solanke & Richy are the #9 options.

Why pay top dollar for non top level players over backing your scouting process to identify players as good outside of a very narrow market?
