If he’s lost another yard of pace then I’d beat him in a foot race!

He’s not a perfect player but he is very, very good and, more importantly, effective. I think RDZ could do wonders with him in the #10 role.

Pace is not the be all and end all if you can beat your opponent get into space and pass accurately. I've seen plenty of speed merchant who couldn't pass water or hit a barn door. It's how quick you read situations and the ability to pass.

So important for us, even if they are still a month or two out. If both are match fit by October, it could hugely influence our season

He has drop foot or an ankle flexion from what I can see in the video. Fairly common after a long term injury to the knee. Maddison had it in the games he played last season and the training vids.

No. Those are consequences of the injury. They can go away in time as his strength returns. But it can stay. Remember R9 post injury would run with a slight gallop.

It is huge to have these two - touch wood, grab lucky rabbit foot - back. If we can rotate them ease them in so much the better. Kulu in the no 10 rotating with Madison, and Kudus on the right rotating with...??? Longer term maybe Odobert. For now Soloman?
