I don’t understand the hype behind this guy. He has looked good but nothing special. Am I being naive and too simple in my evaluation. However many players go to city and don’t succeed only to find some form and look good elsewhere.

He doesn’t score goals or as many as I would like in an attacking role

I think it’s the opposite, there is almost zero hype about this guy, virtually every comment is underwhelmed. He could probably only surprise to the upside if we did buy him!

There will certainly be a lot of "I told you so's" if he arrives and doesn't do well in his first season.
Personally, I'm mildly expectant of impressive performances if we do sign him up

He is a talented player who looked very very good in Spain playing on the left
In England playing him on the right he Andy looked that great, but also hasn’t been poor
Then add in the pep factor and some players thrive where others don’t
My only concern has always been the fee. I dong see how his value and doubled when he hasn’t been a success and they don’t want him (ish)
But then fees are stupid now and it’s not my money
If ifs who RDZ wants then great
But on the latter part this is another player that seemed to be who we wanted for another manager and that does concern me

Bear in mind that his initial value was artificially low because City did their playing fast and loose thing with the multi-club structure.
If we get him, Spurs will be Savio's first club outside of the City Group since he left Brazil at 18.

My issue with him is over at least two season at City has had alot of minutes, in one he was averaging over 60 mins a game if memory serves. Given their attacking intent, despite the "Pep coaches out of them", their wingers score goals, he didn't, the return is shockingly low, that really worries me

Fair call
I saw a reasonable amount of him in Spain and really liked him
At city… I wouldn’t buy him
That’s the gamble
