Radu Drăgușin

Having players speaking highly of the club is a part of rebuilding our image. I think (though I have no inside knowledge), it was at a low point after we sacked both Mourinho and Conte - because they have a strong reputation, but also because they had nothing good to say about us. It won't win us a title, but every little bit helps.

I believe he should be commended for his outlook on this experience. He had a pretty miserable time here, was never really trusted by any of the managers he worked with, suffered a horrible injury, the results were mediocre and yet he leaves a nice comment on his way out. It's difficult not to wish him well after that.

Yeah, classy message from Radu

It’s always occurred to me that these high profile managers from the past just said what needed to be said to get the big fat salary we paid. They pretended they understood our natural budget, salary constraints as well as buying young enough players to maintain their balance sheet value. They then walked through the door and went rogue quickly. They then played the blame game with the club. It all felt so toxic to me.

Now it feels like the club has changed things their end in the way in for managers. All we can hope now are hat RDZ keeps his end of the bargain. Nothing wrong with healthy tension though, as long as it remains healthy.

I'm sort of with you, absolutely in wishing him well 100%

Players want to play but even though the move didn't meet expectations, I think Dragusin has still done well enough from it personally..And without wanting to be too harsh, Radu gave little reason for managers to trust him.

I was hyped for this one, it looked like a move where we showed we were really looking for competition for places. At least my Romanian colleagues will stop asking me why he didn't play for us!
