What Has Been The Worst Reffing/VAR Decision This Season?

I was thinking today - what VAR decisions have gone our way this season? The Leeds offside that if it wasn’t given would have meant they get a penalty sidings to mind but what else?

These things even themselves out over a season were told. Must have some decisions built up for Sunday

I was surprised on the lack of VAR scrutiny on Delap’s elbow in the face of Spence…not looking at the ball, leading with his elbow, jumping into the player…

…but then I realized there’s no reason why we would get a call in our favor at this point of the season.

Some further eVARdence for the prosecution…

Know a lot of fans of other teams now talking about them lot not conceding a pen or red card all season. Wouldn’t be surprised to see one given against them this weekend to try take the shine off how obvious a leg up they’ve been given

Refs and VAR have won more assists for them this season than Saka

That offside was a factual decision, it’s not up for interpretation. So not like it went our way as such.

Romero v Brentford should have been a red
Solanke/ own goal v City was iffy

Off the top of my head

edit: found this

The cartoon they show to justify the decision was iffy, but you’re right it was offside
that reminds me. They show this graphic like its gospel. I want to know how they get to this. That offside in our favor v palace with his nose is farsical. Their is no way in hell its that accurate.

Absolutely scandalous that VAR didn't intervene to send the ref to the monitor. Just as bad that there was zero effort by the club to bring attention to this. And that the media didn't give it any coverage at all.

But I'm not surprised. This PL season has been a shambles from the first match onwards.

WALOB. No mention of Gabriel or Dragusin pushes in terms of errors instantly tells you all you need to know about the credibility of this data.
I agree. I read it and wished I didn't. It gives me concern about the future as there were a number of bad decisions.

I`ve said it loads of times I was all for VAR but now I hate it with a passion. I know this thread is about decisions against us but every supporter of every premiership club will say the same things. And it`s not just one or two decisions, there are multiple controversial decisions every week. My main gripe was that VAR was supposed to look at any "clear and obvious errors" but when a linesman put his flag up for offside and they draw the lines and the attackers elbow is 3mm in front of the defender and its deemed offside is ludicrous. Its not clear and obvious. Unlike it was when Diaz scored against us and you could see he must have been at least a metre onside not millimetres but the goal was ruled out. We were laughing but everyone I know who supports Liverpool still talks about it. My other gripe is rule changes. The handball rule? Every time a ball hits a players hand who can say for certain if a free kick or penalty is going to be given? And the goalie holding on to the ball too long? We got a corner for it in the first game of the season and I haven`t watched every game this season but how many times has it been enforced? And pretty much every game at a corner you can impede the keeper, rugby tackle the attackers and it pretty much goes unpunished. Yes I`m looking at the Arse here. I sincerley hope they get stuffed by a strict ref in the UCL final tomorrow and PSG spank them.
I am royally fudging sick of seeing so many tacos out and about in their Arsenal shirts since the end of the season
