The we are staying up thread

West Ham’s next three matches are all tricky, and all four of forests are.

We will have a bit of confidence now we have that ‘no win in 2026’ monkey off our back. Villa will be concentrating on europa league and Chelsea are all over the shop

Win both our home games and a point at both villa and Chelsea and that should be enough

COYS

Delusional optimism only.

Yes all our creative players are injured. But the 2 away games we have coming up against Vill & Chelsea it will suit us to have them take possesion and we just counter attack with dangerous players like Tel & Richarlison.

And a broken clock is right twice a day, so Muani will thrive in one of our remaining matches and score key goal/s.

While there are obviously things that can be done to impact confidence and belief away from results I think getting results is the only way to really shift the needle on confidence and belief. For the first time in ages we'll go into a league game having won the last league game. That will do us a lot of good.

only if west ham are dropping points
They will not be beating Arsenal or Saudi Sportswashing Machine away.

Also Leeds could get caught napping as could Forest with their fixtures.

I think we are being overly pessimistic with RDZ now coming in and we look better already. And overly optimistic when it comes to the other teams in the scrap.

The truth is we are all brick and down there for some reason and perhaps it’s our turn to go on a run.

I think West Ham will get 7 more points, 4 out of Brentford & Saudi Sportswashing Machine and 3 v Leeds. We’ll need 9. Not looking good.

With Solanke, Xavi, Romero, Vicario out ….

I’m liking the thought of Richi, Maddison/Bergvall, Danso, Kinsey playing instead.
I don't think we'll see Maddison playing this season. Without Xavi we have a real lack of quality in players that can pass the ball

We’re still in it. Got a first win since December, must’ve lifted the spirits and the belief in the team immensely - you could almost see the dread evaporate at final whistle. We’ve looked sounder at the back in the games under RDZ. At times we also play quite well together, passing and moving better than we have all season. Bentancur has looked his old self since coming back - which will do so much for our midfield’s stability and flexibility. Could Maddison be back soon?

Wet Spam have a difficult fixture list.

N ewcastle are almost as bad as us at this point. Friend is a season ticket holder and is only glad that they picked up enough points early in the season to be out of the relegation fight. I wouldn’t guarantee them taking anything off West Ham.

Leeds and Forest are no longer in the mix. It’s between us and WH.

Just not true, Forest have some very difficult fixtures, and Leeds could also crumble …. I’m choosing to believe that we are going to win 3/4 games and stay up. But game by game …. Beat Villa and it’s fudging on like donkey kong

Leeds are what 6 points ahead of us? Lose to us and WHam and that goes fast. I think to be safe we need 4 wins, which this squad is capable of with the right conditions and a bit of luck.

West Ham have a good record against the Goons, who themselves don't look great. Saudi Sportswashing Machine are rubbish now and know Howe is a dead man walking. I'm not convinced the Hammers will pick up many points, but i wouldn't say so with any degree of certainty....

Leeds and Forest’s goal differences are worth another point as it stands. It’s one advantage we have over West Ham.

I think the goons will not lose another game until the end of the season … perhaps a draw against them
