25/26 Injury and illness thread

Didn’t RdZ say this week that Kudus is now out for the season because of how we handled his return? That’s staggering.

Has this club learned nothing? Injury after injury for three seasons and we try rushing a lad back after 3 months out. Echos of VdV and Romero v Chelsea.

I’d heard from a good source that under Ange, we played fast and loose with this sort of thing and it was a source of conflict between management and medical staff.

It’s mind boggling we’d still be doing it at this point.

Everything else at the club is run abysmally badly so it should come as no surprise that the players are mismanaged, too.

And we got rid of the medical staff who were calling out the unacceptable attitudes: https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...r-spurs-head-of-medicine-geoff-scott-injuries

And not forgetting poor old Kulusevski who ran himself into the ground at the start of last season (without Deki carrying the team for those months we probably wouldn’t have banked those vital points which allowed Postecoglou to put all his eggs in Europa League basket and forget about the PL run-in) and came back to start that Palace defeat but then picked up a “knock” which has resulted in 2 surgical procedures and nearly 12 months on the sidelines 🏥
