Thanks for the heads up. Saw PIL supporting Stiff Little Fingers in Belfast in August, they were great. Sham 69 were also on the bill, Jimmy Pursey - still fantastic!

Thanks for the heads up. Saw PIL supporting Stiff Little Fingers in Belfast in August, they were great. Sham 69 were also on the bill, Jimmy Pursey - still fantastic!

I saw PIL at Chalk in Brighton a couple of months back and they were brilliant. Also saw Sham69 there recently and they got the crowd going!

Menace were also on the bill and were surprisingly good. Tear Up were lively but OI not really my thing.

I think the PIL documentary is preceded by I was a teenage Sex Pistol so that's tonight's viewing sorted.

So I recently listened to the following show on BBC6

Iggy Pop - A Berlin Special

It is brilliant. This absolute treasure of an artist making his way through Berlin (and by proxy German) musical history is engaging, educational, entertaining and utterly enriching.

I know there are a few on here who would happily settle in with their favourite beverage and some headphones; I heartily encourage you.

I love 6music....so many great shows and shed loads on BBC sounds to dig thru.

Iggy is a legend....his 'confidential' show on Sundays is great...sometimes as mad as a rottweiler, sometimes as soothing as a purring cat.
