*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham FC ***

I didn't see the game but if we were only marginally the better side at home against the worst West Ham side in years and lost the game, that's grounds for instant dismissal.

I think it is untenable now. Nuno did have a smile on his face pre-game. Almost like he was passing on the kick to the nuts as Spurs manager. Neither a bad manager, both unable to get the time needed to develop the team. Which is a shame with Frank as in other circumstances he could do well. But with no senior, settled attacking players we're compromised in defence - trying to push forward - and not good enough in attack. Frank takes some of that blame, but hard to get players lacking in skill confident in their ability.

We could accomodate one of Tel, Odobert, Muani in a settled attack, but to have all 3 and give them time to develop isn't viable.

Initially, i saw what i thought was a bit more organisation/defensive solidity, but that seems to have vanished now. I'm not convinced all the players are playing for him now either (but that may be a bit of a knee-jerk reaction on my part).

Mason in as caretaker til the end of the season (this is a joke to be clear!)
Just before their first goal there was a situation where West Ham had the ball and their centre forward who was furthest forward dropped off, out two centre backs on the other hand both dropped into our penalty area giving West Ham a MASSIVE space to play in. The coaching and set up is terrible. I’m not convinced that Christian Gross was any worse.

This is awful, you can't recognise Tottenham from one match to the next, there's no plan, all movement happens at the same time. Nobody knows when and where to play the ball in attack. You see it all the time with the ball being played behind players or onto the wrong foot. That's a clear sign that teammates don't know your movement.

This is 100% Thomas and the coaching staff's fault. The only thing you can do is sack the manager, and I actually think they have to sack the groundsman too. Something is wrong with Tottenham's pitch – I think the surface is too hard, which is why there are so many injuries and Tottenham can't get it right at home either.

The club is back to the old days when they were mid-table or lower…
Its like watching a pub side. And Romeros walking football out from the back slows us right down .
We take an age to get the ball foreward, and when we get a cross into the 6 yard box theres never any of our players even bothered to run in there.
Our only plan seems to be keep giving it to Porro to cross it.

It tells you something when Tel is looking the best of our attackers. I honestly dont know what anyone on this forum is seeing to think that any of Tel, Muani, Odebert and Simons are any where near PL level. They all look like they would struggle in the Championship to me. It doesn't matter who coaches us until we change our recruitment policy and stop buying players too weak to flourish in leagues that are in my opinion weaker than the premier league.
Thomas Frank is a dead man walking but I fail to see who could come in and change things around with this squad and the injuries we have at the moment

Don't see the point in sacking him.

Someone else comes in, maybe gets a reaction, then a couple injuries couple sales and it's back here again

This continual stock pilling of average back ups and replacements will just continue, Biss coming on highlighted how far the levels have fallen. He can control the ball, dribble and pass to feet. He was the midfielder that was seen as the weak link before

Okay with what? Think you're trying to put words into peoples mouths.

You left me little conclusion to arrive at with your response to what was a pretty hard to dispute fact. West Ham were superior in the first-half. And should've been 3 goals up.
Or was the point of your reply to drag this into an argument?

Probably not the money, a poisoned chalice that any manager in demands is going to run away from right now. With Kulu, Madderson, Solanke fit we're a different proposition. But whoever comes in will be relying on Tel, Odobert, Muani and hopefully Solanke in attack as things stand.

That opening fiasco where Odobert has a free shot 10 yards out - slices it to Tel who then does the same - should a meme. Its comedy. But summed us up. Confidence drained, and we were going through the motions but lacking belief in attack.
Kulu and Madders are barely going to play this season mate. Let’s stop making excuses for this terrible manager and do something positive and get somebody else in who can take the handbrake off and stop these terrible, negative performances.

If Tel and Odobert aren’t good enough then the manager shouldn’t have authorised the sale of Johnson. I think unfortunately Frank is out of his depth at a big club…. Though if we carry on with him in charge we can become a small club in no time.

In what way are we a big club?

And yet nothing will change
