ENIC

and its getting worse as its now circular learning from its own degrading data
In the words of David Gedge, "It's getting better all the time".
Each version of AI gets steadily better and better.
But remember, you are never asking AI for a truthful expert answer to a question, you are asking AI to create the sort of answer someone might expect to get from an expert i.e. it will fabricate links and text to create something approximating the sort of answer one might expect.

Whereas 18 months ago I asked AI what the historic scores were for Spurs v Liverpool and it made the whole list of scores up, including several years into the future!

Asked it again if it were spurs.

TargetRoleEst. CostWhy him over the "Rumors"?Adam WhartonDeep Playmaker£55mBetter technical ceiling than Gallagher.Maghnes AklioucheLeft Winger/10£50mMore creative than Yan Diomande.Antonee RobinsonLeft Back£35mMore reliable than a 19-year-old from Brazil.

Akliouche is definitely a right winger, so good to see it's as accurate as it is with its other nonsense.

It can't get that much better. It's only capable of giving statistical averages of it's training data. So it will always be - at best - average. And it's training data is getting worse, as it's now training on its own hallucinations.

Disagree. It doesn't give statistical averages, it calculates what a good answer might be. The algorithms are progressing fast, and the processing power is progressing faster. Off topic.

I've never used it, but the examples I've seen of friends using it it is giving them the answer it thinks they want.

Very off topic now, and I’m sorry……. but you need detailed questions to get the best out of AI (here’s a tip, you can use AI to help you generate those detailed questions and I would suggest using different AI platforms for generating the question and asking the question)

Yep, lots of statements here from people who don't fully grasp it

- #1, whatever answer you get today is the worse AI will ever be, it will only get better
- You can prompt AI to only give accurate answers, to not "reach" or try to please
- You can create your own sandbox AI that only focuses on a single thing (e.g. football) that would inevitably be more accurate.
- Expect more than a single prompt required, expect multiple passes, to need to provide additional instructions.

Anyway, back to ENIC, now we need a new sporting director or is Lange promoted?

Thrilled to see a David Gedge reference on the forum. We're certainly Getting Nowhere Fast.
