I do agree, some of the slagging he gets from a section of our fans is way over the top IMO. However he seems to be so short of confidence and i would think he would be better off moving at the end of the season.

I thought Frank said something like he isn't sure if we will see him this year ir something along those lines. I could have made that up. But Frank been saying after every international he getting closer . Just womt believe anything until I see him on the bench
 
This was what I saw on Solanke

One forward Thomas Frank cannot call upon to face United is Dominic Solanke. The England international is yet to start a match this season and has missed the past two-and-a-half months with an ankle injury that has dogged him since the summer. The 28-year-old eventually had to have a minor procedure at the end of September but is yet to return.

Spurs are set to arrange a training ground friendly during the international break next week which will give centre-back Radu Dragusin a first chance of some match action 10 months on from his ACL injury and Frank was asked if Solanke could appear as well in the behind-closed-doors.

"Most likely not," admitted the Dane.

Frank was then asked whether the Tottenham supporters could at least expect to see Solanke back in action before the end of the year.

"Er, I do hope so. I would say let’s see what happens after the international break," said the Spurs boss. "We are still going steps forward. It’s on track so far."

Frank had earlier told football.london: "I think the international break will be the big deciding factor because we have two weeks there to push in the next steps. As I say, it's going forward. It was clear that he was not ready before the international break. It's more, we look after the international break, that's what we're aiming for. I think we always want to get it right, but I think it's important to get it right so he's out there, can help the team and we need him back."

Incredibly and intentionally vague from frank
 
Body language interpretation warning, but looks clear he's short on confidence. His reaction to finally scoring, his obvious frustration when not scoring, taking that penalty against Copenhagen. He's nowhere near the confident player he can be at times.

Not saying he's fantastic when confident, but hope that goal gives him some confidence and that he can return to the better version of himself soon. We really need that and particularly with Solanke and Kolo Muani out.

In the Brazil squad for the upcoming international break, would be really good if he could get some positive experiences there too.
 
Needs to stop taking his shirt off when he scores. Especially with VAR, you can have goals chalked off very easily and then you’ve accumulated a booking for nothing. The only times it’s ever excusable is if you score the winner late in a local derby or in a final.
 
I really hope our supporters can STFU and support the fudging player whilst he is in our shirt during this time when nature (???) has conspired to deprive us of TWO centre-forwards most likely through the New Year.

He thrives on support, everyone knows it, everyone knows his mental health issues because he's been honest about, yet he's 'brick' or he's 'stealing goals from others' or it's his fault we gave up a point at home to Man U because he took his shirt off...FFS.

IS he good enough to be our CF? Probably not. Is he a decent player on his day? Absolutely. Do we need to help him find his day more often? Absolutely. Is this likely his final season here? I'd say so.

i hope you're right and everton buys him from us

i can't imagine him faring better against all the other epl teams just because he plays for everton
