Savinho

One to return to depending on how his season goes from now until January - clearly we've left the option open, since we haven't bought anyone for that left-wing role.

But if he really wants a move from City, he'll need to throw his toys out of the pram a bit more.

I think the saddest reality of this window is that the players who do bad things to get moves are rewarded.
Isaak and Wissa = rewarded, Guehi = mugged at the last. Two whined and tinkled and moaned, one did not.

For sure mate. And it's a reminder that loyalty goes both ways - we as fans tend to want players to stay loyal forever, but are happy to discard those we see no use for.

Clubs also need to do right by their players, and Guehi and Savinho have the right to feel aggrieved at the way they've been treated.

And it's why our relationship with Sonny was such a unique thing, because it was a rare example of both the club doing something right by the player (giving him a new deal before the Asian Cup despite knowing that he would get conscripted if they lost) - and the player then repaying that faith by sticking with us in hard times.

Guehi will cash in next summer. Sure he'll be just fine.
