I think Arteta finds a way usually for them not to get over the line, but the side will overtake that now IMO, unfortunately.

I think we will see a drop off from Liverpool now IMO, I think their balance is all off. Weirdly I think its between Arsenal or Chelsea this year

Agree about Pool
Need better defensive options in the team
City will come good
They have Liljnders there now for these the asthma top up
Arsenal will be there again big arteta will drag them down and the team will follow him…

I agree re Pool, all my mates and a fair few on here have been saying how unstoppable they’re gonna be after making these signings but it ignores they’ve lost Jota, Darwin, Diaz, TAA and I’d be amazed if it’s the same Salah we see this season?

They’re not adding these signings on top of the squad that strolled to the league last season, they’re replacing players and it takes time. They also desperately need a CB, it looks like VVD might just be starting to wane? Guehi is a necessity.

They’ve bought really well and I hope they click early to avoid the disaster of the Goons winning it, but I just don’t think it’s the slam dunk most people think it is.

Yeh, I thought they would be turning everyones lights out but then Jota died and seeing them so far, they just look SOOOOOO unbalanced. That Frimpong fella is not a RB and looks a defensive liability, so unless they beat teams out of sight then they have an issue. VVD looks terribly vulnerable now and I keep saying it, in a side with two attacking FBs who can't defend and a defensive pairing on the wane, I think Wirtz, although supremely talented, is a luxury they can ill afford at the moment, they just looks so so open and he is a proper old fashioned free role merchant
 
Fernandes really let the ref get to his head with that little collision pre penalty, made a big thing of it and paid the price
