Eberechi Eze

So was ready to sign for Spurs, but then called Arteta on the off chance he could sign for them? And then got some Gooner England team mates to 'put in a word' for him?

This sounds like something a ten year old would make up....
His agent was working both sides the whole time, and he's an Assna fan since childhood, so really we haven't missed out unless there's no more incomings for that left side. I do not trust Johnson, Odobert or Tel to raise this squad to Champions League level.

CLoser to the truth IMO

The press have to elaborate into the realm of fantasy where they could be honest and say that football transfers are a murky world and Agents are largely scumbags...........

But seeing as Agents are a protected breed, we tolerate them and bu11brick is made up

Arteta confirmed that Eze phoned him up when speaking after their match today…

sound like we got used but that's what you get for not winning much

it will be interesting to see how arteta keeps his bench happy with the world cup coming up

If any of us were footballers and the option on the table for career progression was Arsenal, we'd all pick up the phone to Levy.
I respect Eze for actually sticking to what he wanted. He wanted to be there and was honest about it.

He didn't really stick to what he wanted did he? He was prepared to sign for us - imagine if Arteta had said no we don't want you/cant sign you. We would have a player playing for us who had begged Arteta to sign him - yuk! Good player, glad he didn't come....

Hardly, he led us up the garden path. If he was honest, he would've said thanks, but no thanks, I'm waiting for lego head.
