*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Burnley FC ***

It feels a really big call to start with Gray/Bergvall as (presumably) our 2 in midfield so early in the season, but I guess it is seen as a weaker opposition at home, so we want to go for it.

None of us have ever seen Johnson play well from the left... nor has Frank... so I wonder what is going on there, I was sure Tel or Odobert would get a chance.

I do think Johnson is gagging for some minutes though.

We won’t have to if we get Eze and Savinho aswell as Solanke getting back to full fitness.

Hopefully we get both of them plus another fullback, as think that Davies is only for emergencies but we’ll surely need 2 decent options for each side when CL starts.

We don't know what formation we are playing or where players are playing in it.

I presume poeple are watching the warm up on youtube?

The chat is Korean Korean Korean Korean Korean Korean Korean so I guess "those fans" are still here :)

....but Sarr can run all day😍

Hopefully he proves as resilient as Porro was last season but would be nice to sign a Wharton type midfielder who can control the passing tempo when we’re up against bus parkers.

Guess we’ll see today how the youngsters deal with such an obstacle but Kudus’ ability to break the lines will probably be key, then Odobert on the bench to unlock his old team if needed.

It will be interesting to see Kyle Walker play today.
Also Maxim Esteve who we were linked with, but I've never actually seen kick a football.

I'm having a flash back to March 2024 when we played Burnley.
We let them score after 3 minutes.
Then huffed and puffed until Johnson made them score an own goal.
Then Son scored on 86 and we just about scraped the win.

I hope people are prepared for a very frustrating game today, they had only conceded 16 goals in 46 games in the Championship. They are designed to frustrate the opposition and then try and steal a goal. They will be very happy with a 0-0.

thats not frustrating, thats perfect
