As I have said before....much (most) of this is about your emotional needs being met. When they're not, perceived or otherwise, ones reaction (as everyone here would have experienced if they have family and friends) will depend where you fall on the emotional intelligence curve.
Being a sport and something everyone loves, I would wish more than anything that it was just purely emotionally driven.
But the game itself is further away from that scenario than ever. It's big business.
The thing that is quite strange is that we did actually WIN something last season and that event doesn't appeared to have moved the needle with some supporters.
CfTs messaging is so weak and flimsy and looks to be driven by emotion. When that's raging...it's a barrier and a turn off for anyone you hope to engage with, (obv not the like-minded) especially if your mission is to speak to the club
