Assume he would be played on the left, believe he did at Girona before the City move.I'm not sure about this. He's obviously a good player. But he's also very much a dribbling right winger. Quite similar to the one we bought for £60m a month ago. He's not much of a passer, and he's very one-footed. The balance just doesn't seem right with Kudus already here.

Totally agree. Cant see how this fits with any kind of plan. Unless like you say it means moving Kudus (as the priorities are CAM, Striker, LB.I'm not sure that would suit him, considering how one-footed he is, and all he does is cut in (he's not a passer or a crosser).
Maybe it would mean Kudus being used in the 10? But again that's all dribbling and no passing. And he's less good there than out right too

Can play either flank, unpredictable and tricky, 21 years old but with experience at a high level...
Suddenly having him and Kudus gives us great players to watch as they dribble and attack opponents.
All for this.
His best work for Girona came when he played on the leftHas this player ever played as a number 10/CAM?
Or a left-winger?
A system set up for Dom to receive crosses, passes, chances should see him be more than adequate for that role.No goals in either of them though. It would need a Clive Allen 87 forward to tie everything together. We'd also still need a 10 to be able to progress the ball to them.
Presumably it would mean Tel becoming a full-time CF/Richy's replacement?

Would light the place up.He would walk into our side.

I have to wonder if we won't be looking to try Kudus more centrally in the 10 spot but perhapos not with Madders-like 10ism? If you were to play Kudus, Savinho, Johnson as a three behind Solanke - providing Savinho and Johnson play narrow - it could cause chaos. The interchange between them would be dizzying!
If you allow the FBs to overlap, let Paulinho drop in for security and have one of Bergy/Bentancur as the progressive pivot, well, it could be fun???? The main issue is connecting front to back of course...perhaps we'll look to the likes of not just Bergy/Bents but also Porro to push up and pass acurately????

Id fancy all of Savinho, Odobert and Kudus against a deep set defence. They've all got a trick and a bit of explosivity. Solanke's presence would be useful in that situation too. Tel and Johnson are more counter attacking specialists thoughI could see it as move towards becoming a counter attacking side again. Break at speed with Savinho, Johnson, Odobert, Tel, Kudus etc. Not quite as much need for a Maddison-type in that setup. Not sure how that goes against Burnley, Leeds etc who setup with 10 players on the edge of their box for 90 minutes though.
And that sort of thing had Nuno hounded out within a few months.
