PL rules, what rules ?

I read somewhere that Villa were going to sell their women's team for £55m while Chelsea sold theirs for £200m.
In what world are those actual market values?

In a similar vein, it seems like Forest are tryingt o buy Lyon players to help them improve their finances, win their appeal against relegation, remain in Europe and so stand a chance of Palace being unable to be in Europe and needing to be replaced by Forest!

Saudi Sportswashing Machine were sold for £300m. For context. Stadium and everything.
Even outside of football the government or authorities should look at it. Opens money laundering, tax evasion abuses etc...

Rules are just a nonsense, can the PL be taken seriously with clubs using every loophole to avoid PSR.

The only reasonable action is to deduct 10 points from Everton.

Tbf, it's like Chelsea doing the same with the ladies team and hotel situation, along with £50m made from being in the world club championship thing for winning the CL 5 years ago? Year after year, I hear about their chickens coming home to roost. I'm still patiently waiting! Always waiting. Eternally waiting. Waiting forevermore.

But it'll definitely happen soon right, just like City's charges.....

Along with dodgy deals for academy products to secure "pure profit", or just clubs feeling like they have to sell viable products of the academy to fund extravagant purchases.

The chickens coming home to roost thing that Tottenham fans cling on to so dearly just feels at this point like the old man shaking his fist at the Sun as it's rises and sets every day.

In the words of Marlo Stanfield "You want it to be one way, but it's the other way."

The only hope is the regulator.

All of the governing bodies unanimously give no fudges about enforcing anything they ever devise for fair play

When ever they come up with new FFP rules I just consider it to reflect what they feel is important for creating the illusion of upholding… rather than actually attempt to implement in practice

I really struggle to believe every big club in UEFA competition has thus far met FFP requirements over the last decade and a half . It doesn’t seem likely to me that only small Eastern European sides have ever failed to meet FFP
