ENIC

I thought for the last one the organisers were citing a couple of thousand? Although I might have that wrong (and it looked a bit generous from the various clips posted online).
They were but it was never even close to that, Trump syndrome! The drones on tv went overhead and It was probably 500-1000, at a very generous estimate. Roughly 1% of the gate..

So what is it they want again?

- An owner with more impressive credentials of human rights abuses and environmental destruction
- Discount tickets for Boomers, the wealthiest section of our society
- A ban on foreign looking people buying merchandise, or ideally just on foreign looking people

Is that the gist of it?

You realise many of the organisers are not boomers and could be described as foreign looking?
But as usual don't let reality interfere with your posts.

Heard people were coming out of the club shop with the enic out scarf with bags of merchandise they just bought...

I witnessed a few people as I was arriving today, standing in the Park Lane 'Square' (outdoor area behind the South Stand), with the Enic Out scarves, plus their clear-sealed bags with their new purchases from the Club Shop, all enjoying a few pints in the sunshine they'd bought from the club's bars.

Only way levy would take any notice was if the stadium and tills were empty for a few games in a row
Until that happens he will just laugh it off as always

I always thought that if they spent more time enjoying their days rather than taking photos of Koreans to complain about, then they would be happier people

From what I’ve seen.(admittedly very little, just online stuff and outside the ground yesterday) it’s more younger people than old. Young to me being 40s downwards. Obviously there’s a mix of ages and there are certainly older people participating but that seemed to be the main age grouping. I suppose us older fans have seen success in any of the 60s/70s/80s and also lived through the risk to the club from the Scholar days so are maybe more accepting of the status quo. Most wouldn’t be averse to new owners I’d guess but are either not interested in, or see the futility of, the protests. Levy/ENIC will go when they are ready and not before. I don’t think Levy will want to leave until he has seen us win the PL or CL. So Levy-outers need to be in it for the long haul.

I think fair play to them
They have got organised
Got some people out there getting their step count up
They are all saying the same things and promoting their cause
Just wish they had a plan for whatever outcome they want

I agree. Regardless of whether I agree or not with their objectives, they have done a good job getting momentum going. It will never be enough and as soon as we pick up performances the backing will fizzle out (imo) because fans are fickle but for now they have managed to galvanise a small part of the fan base, more than has happened in a good while.
Personally I still don’t like them dragging my club through the mud but they are getting some small traction

It’s ok not a big deal people should be able to protest even if you agree or disagree.

It’s like the free Palestine bollox … don’t agree with the movement personally and don’t agree with the burden on the tax payer but it is what it is

I don’t think anyone (here) has said anyone shouldn’t be allowed to protest?
