I'm not saying under this manager.Could be, maybe
I’m not sure some have the legs for it or the basic skill set
For sure, there are some that are needing to move on.

It’s notSee a decent team in that situation would as Sonny dribbles in...would lay it to Spence who would slide it first time to Madders on the left in that massive space the team had created with their movement.
And I don't even think that's hard to execute
I knowI'm not saying under this manager.

I’m the same
I work as hard when I played at every level
It’s why teams wanted me. If I’d the donkey work and harassed like a fudger
And fans shouldn’t have to accept it, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen
What was interesting was Eddie Howe saying he played a different way vs poor on the league (sacrifice) to not have them know how he was gonna play in the cup
Lineker said he did something similar vs forest in the league when we played them before the cup final
It’s not
But look at how Sonny is running with to to start with… poor technique (not alone on that front)
None of this is technically hard
It’s why it’s so frustrating with the team failing all the time on basic stuff
It happens in all clubs imoWhat I can't figure out is whether it's a club cultural issue rather than a manager cultural issue, if that makes sense?
I've seen this happen a lot over the years with many different managers. I've watched the same players do it across different managers. Perhaps Spurs players generically are more entitled than other clubs. Perhaps it's to do with the club DNA or the empty trophy cabinet. Player leadership comes into it as well.
I have heard people talk about each generation of kids being harder to manager in the society we live in. It's not as if gets to use some of the psychology tools that Clough or Fergie used back in the day.
This season could become like end of the 18/19 season when we got to the CL final. That league form was abysmal for a side as good as it was. You could see the weak mentality players like Eriksen in the league team.
100% agree on the solanke numbers because we don’t create enough for himWe know that is the signature Sonny move. He tries it all the time. Cuts in from the left and tries to work a shot away on his right foot into the far corner. He telegraphs it.
It's a striker thing in my opinion. Finding the balance between being selfish (good thing) and being a creator, something that Son's stats would suggest he is good at.
I think we can all see that what Ricky wrote is correct. I think Solanke has a right to mention that his goal tally might be a bit higher if those balls across the box were more frequent.
The Goons have won in the past BUT I bet there are plenty of them saying exactly what you're saying here. What I can't figure out is whether it's a club cultural issue rather than a manager cultural issue, if that makes sense?

Way more likely to win?I think that was my trophy cabinet observation. When they won the cup in early Arteta tenure, it would have been easier for the manager to keep them running through the brick walls. It's a while since that last trophy and it's way more likely to happen now.
I guess you learn who your strongest characters are in these moments.
Way more likely to win?
Hat confused me was the Goon referenceYeah, definitely. If that thought pops into your head that you're gonna come down a gear and you have a Jordan Henderson in your ear, you can easily snap out of it. If you have a Kane and Hojbjerg alongside you setting bad examples it's easier to join in with their apathy. Once the collective does it, you're in big trouble.

Said it before big he reminds me a lot of pochYeah, that was Ricky's original observation.
Personally, I think Goons have a massive decision to make this summer over Arteta. He may have plateau'd. They could be really brave and go for an upgrade that will do more than get from C to B to A. They need to get from A to A+, something they've struggled with based on the crazy amount of investment in the playing squad. I bet there are some of those Arsenal players that are looking admiringly at Pool, BM, RM etc and letting their levels go from 100% to 90% in the leagu. They know they've got CL next season and aren't winning in the league, so players will get up for the RM match in April.
Not dissimilar to us of course. LOL, it would be nice to get from C to B though.

I know I wasI think they were bored
And losing quite a lot of the team!!I know
But I think we have to make some more brave moves next
Move on any player who can’t control a ball and move for a start
That may mean taking a hit on some fees paid
Would be losing 3/4 players for sureAnd losing quite a lot of the team!!
