So Emirates Marketing Project and to a lesser degree Liverpool are leading the way. Trying to close the gap who do we need and what do we need to change to do so?
Emirates Marketing Project have 4-3-3/4-2-3-1/4-1-2-3 which is similar to what we do and strongest side is:

Ours potentially is:

Moura---------------Kane-------------------Son

Obviously it's about opinions but on paper(screen) we are not miles apart in quality and now we have good bench options. Thoughts?

We're weaker at GK, RB, LWF, RWF and at KdB vs CE position. They also have more depth than us

If you really do believe that our 11 beats their 11 then you must also think that our manager is far worse than theirs given tha they finished miles ahead of us last season!
 
Damn I only wanted to know people's opinions on our team v the top 2, I refuse to accept the blame for this Saturday. If on the other hand we manage a decent result I will accept all praise. :p

I think our manager is far better, but last season most of our players massively underperformed.

City played to their ability 90% of the time, we didn’t break 25%.

but surely the quality in manager is the difference between getting 90% form your team and 25%?

I don’t think a manager can affect things by more than 10/15%, City clearly had better psychological support last season, also, from the injury differential, a more effective physio dept, I’ll be surprised if we don’t improve considerably on last season in these areas.
