Five finals in 17 years - that's not bad these days! Granted, it's the league cup not the FA cup, but still.

Whilst it's all in the LC this will be my 5th final as a fan (started supporting in June 95), not bad considering in that time Everton have been to 1, Villa 3, Saudi Sportswashing Machine 2 and Emirates Marketing Project 3.

Infact only 4 clubs can match or better that amount of cup final appearances - Man U, Chelsea, arsenal and Liverpool.
 
Here's another fun fact:

If Spurs bag another cup it would mean we won a major trophy in each of the last seven decades; A feat only matched by Man Utd.

Any idea on the number of loyalty points needed for a cup final ticket?

I fear I'm right on the very edge (137 pts) of being cut off and thinking of buying tickets to fiorentina and Swansea. Any idea how many points these will get me? Is Swansea B or C?

Argh!!!!!

I think 137 points will be way off, hope that you're wrong as I have just over 200 points and if you get a ticket it'll mean I do too :)
 
It's a shame the game is the Sunday after our Thursday night trip to Fiorentina.
Would be so happy if we won it, more than getting top 4 for me.

There's a possibility chelsea will have an extra 48 hours to prep for the final than us.

Was thinking exactly the same this morning mate. A quick top up might be in order. I had a look at how the loyalty points were broken down amongst our fans on the website, and there's quite a jump in numbers once you hit the early 100's.

However, whilst I have less than you, i was lucky enough to get a ticket for the FA Cup semi against Chelsea a couple of seasons back. I think it's a fairly close weigh up - a semi final of FA Cup with a League Cup final (same opponents of course). So you may be ok.

Problem might well be that the new Wembley give a lot of corporate tickets out to finals. I seem to recall a final a few years back where each club only got about approx 30,000 each!!! What a joke, esp when you consider both teams will sell that out at home against lower opposition in the league!

Lastly, does anyone know if loyalty points are only awarded if a member buys their seat DURING the membership period?? i.e, not once they've gone to general sale???
 
Do we not get near on 35K tickets for League cup (compared to 20K for FA cup) thought it would be a easier than that- 107 seems like i am buying from a tout -

Yes, you still get points even if the game has gone to General Sale. Just topped up my points with Swansea and Fiorentina tickets (point get added the next day)
