Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

Cynic in me says it's a genius motivational ploy to spur them on to win the lot. Then can come back under the banner of regalvanised etc etc

Anyone think they may sniff around Ange given his style of play and he grew up a Dipper fan? Be just our luck…remember Arnesen.

Would have thought Alonso is the obvious option but that comes with a lot of risk.

Great way to start Friday though.

That’s what crossed my mind too. But I think he will leave and there might be the risk that some down tools if they know he is leaving in the summer.

He’s been excellent for them even if he complains a lot. And whoever comes in might take time to get their Liverpool team ticking. Good news for us in that sense.

I don’t think they will as it comes too soon. You wouldn’t want a manager that jumps that quickly. Plus I feel confident that Postecoglou has more integrity than to set us up and then just leave. Whilst it’s always possible I think it’s highly unlikely.

Yeah on balance I do too. Didn’t he say something like “yeah I was a Dipper fan but I also used to have posters of the Fonz on my wall”.

Ange does seem like a man with integrity and that he’s in it for the long haul. Anyway, he spent long enough trying to get out of a country with a history of criminality, why would he move to Liverpool? (Very cheap joke @tommysvr, sorry).

Oh brick. Remember how Ange admitted he was a Liverpool fan as a kid?

Hunker down for the media tsunami that will now inevitably hit our shores.
Yeah, it's gonna be tiring, especially if we keep playing well and hang on to top four this season - or maybe even look like we have an outside chance for the title. I have a feeling Ange will handle the inevitable speculation and stupid PK questions pretty well though. And I don't expect him to jump ship either.

I can't think of one instance where the manager says they are leaving at the end of the season having a positive influence?
Was Capello in that situation at Madrid the year he brought Beckham back in from the stiffs or am I misremembering.

Think you’re right generally though. There are lots of examples of it going wrong.
