Three posters on here have exclaimed outrage without giving any rational reason, cba'sd to tag them but kddsoc Paxton and briddo. None will offer any actual explanation, just empty outrage. Newsflash, if you're on the side of Piers Morgan who will hack a dead child's voicemail, you're probably on the wrong side.

I think having strong feeling either way about the monarchy is a ridiculous position.

Hahaha, exactly this, people crying when the queen died like she was a family member, odd (IMO). Protestors against the monarchs, why? If you are letting the existence of the royal family influence your life to the extent you feel the need to protest then maybe you need a hobby.

I assumed it was an open forum, opinions are like @rseholes, we all have one, people agree, people disagree, unfortunately my hate for Liverpool fans due to suffering years of abuse off them at work skews my opinions at times

We are fortunate to live in some sort of peace right now.

Honestly I am not a royalist, didn’t watch the coronation today, but I know how to behave.

The Liverpool fans booing the national anthem again shows their complete lack of respect for anything. They really are the arsehole of the country - its just fudging shameful.

As always when I've made a trip to Anfield, some great chats before the match, some great chats afterwards. The match-attending Liverpool supporters have always been top drawer in my personal experiences (9 times at Anfield, many more including two cup finals). IMO this whole 'arseholes' thing is a total myth.

Groups of people (mob mentality) tend to behave in a very similar manner (politics, religion, football)

I'm glad your experiences have been good, but I think a lot of us know a Liverpool mentality that for 30 years thought there was some grand conspiracy that was actively preventing them from winning the PL, that think Kane is a diver but Salah and Mane are honest players, that when we spent years above them somehow they started every season as potential title winners and we would struggle for the top 4, that their fan support is the best (you were at the last game, our away fans clearly out sung them unless the only mike was in the away section). As a group they are fudging insufferable and the least gracious fans.

Loved the time we had up there

went there for our game and no agro at all until a drunkard went on a rant about us tories from down south
How they were setting a new level as a club being in all the finals
And how southerners were toxic scum
He got thrown out after sexually abusing the manager of the pub
At the ground a steward pushed my mate in the queue and the police stepped in and reprimanded the steward
After the game their fans were no happy but took the banter well when we left
Went to an Everton pub and we had at least 3 guys try to fight us, rob us and put something in our drinks.
Headed back into town and the first pub we went in a pool fan said he wished Glenn Holdle was dead. Random as hell comment but shows the mentality of some
Our fans are not perfect. Our fans are far form perfect
But our fans aren’t as strange as fans of pool
I’ve been there now about 9 times now and it’s just odd odd odd. Their view on everything is distorted to say the least.

I personally think that is their internet support-base, and in fairness, swap out several names there and it could be Arsenal or Chelsea fans. I have never heard the 'title conspiracy' one personally. I accept some have had different experiences. I just think there is a greater shadow of class war/class divide about it all, Nd equally, I'd agree that some in that neck of the woods misjudge all south of 'the gap' as being 'Tory scum' which is obviously flimflam. I think the tribalism aspect is a very interesting discussion I'd love to have one day!!!!

Whatever we say about this lot, you have respect the fact that Klopp built a great team. I mean we talk about how good Arteta’s Arsenal have been this season. But let’s not forget Arsenal lost all 3 games against city. Liverpool, in their pomp, regularly smashed city all over the place. Plus Klopp has won everything domestically at a time when City have been dominant. Of course, Klopp has been backed well, but nonetheless I have a begrudging respect for the guy even allowing for how annoying he is.
