Would it have been a straight red? Shaw's scythe on Moura only earned him a yellow and was far worse. Liverpool or not Pickford's "tackle" on VVD was dangerous, has caused serious injury and he should have earned a straight red. I would be fuming if that was Harry Kane.

Pickford deserved a red but I think he was brainless and reckless rather than malicious. Not an excuse obviously but he’s rushing out trying to make himself as big as possible. But it’s a red all day for me.

Richarlison’s was worse because there was intent there. It was a nasty, nasty tackle. Id be raging if either tackle was on one of ours.

But it’s Liverpool so fudge em.
