Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

Naaaaa I think that’s done it for me now. Liverpool fans are my number one hated fans.

I’ve just spent 10 minutes reading a couple of their threads on Rawk and based on the posts and the Liverpool fans I know in general, they’re right at number one spot. Other reasons are:

1. They think their ground is the best in the world. It’s actually not, fact.

2. They think they didn’t get beaten in the final, they lost but weren’t beaten. Ok well that’s just fudging plain departed, they were beaten. 3-1.

3. They think Henderson is a decent player.

4. Liverpool is a proper brickhole (but so is spurs so can’t really use this one to full effect).

5. their songs are well brick (I’ve said this before)

6. I hate their accent. They sound like they’re spitting and phleghming all the time. Have you heard them say chicken??

I could go on, but I think I’m just going to keep making things up in the end as I really despise them their club and anyone with a Liverpudlian accent.
No. 3 will never stop being funny.

So it was concussion that lost the CL final. Does concussion have a Twitter account to send death threats too?

So, given the heightened awareness these days - rightly so - of head injuries and concussion, Liverpool medical staff were so worried that they didn’t arrange for a scan immediately after the game but allowed Karius to take a long haul flight to the US and then arranged for medical intervention whilst he was there?

Indeed.
What a complete load of gonads!!!! This has to be a simple bit of PR designed to allow Karios his career back?

PR to get Liverpool fans off his back.
It reminds me of something I read in the aftermath of the CL final, comparing their fans’ reaction to Karius with Spurs fans’ reaction to Danny Thomas in 1984. (Goosebumps). Support when it matters, not when it suits.

That was brilliant, all of us starting chanting " one Danny Thomas" after his pen and it was goosebumps time. I always rated him as a FB and it was a shame when he had to quit at 26. Somewhere in my shirt collection i still have the tee-shirt that read i was there when Danny scored his only goal for us.

Great memories.

They’ll be rocked to the core following their £24,000 UEFA fine after their fans smashed up City’s bus.

Football is still rather backwards with the response to concussion. Sure the stop the game and give the players a quick check (e.g. the two Nigeria players on Saturday), but they don't have mandatory concussion checks where the players have to leave the field for an assessment (as in rugby union and league). I still look back at one moment I found very disappointing from Spurs, the handling of Lloris when he was concussed.

It's possible that Karius started showing obvious symptoms the next day (the flight might not have helped). Whether this contributed to the mistakes is only speculation and, of course, calls for a replay are ridiculous. It's the responsibility of Liverpool to check the welfare of their players during a game and take them off if there is a problem. I assume they didn't know.

It was an incredible moment during an incredible night for sure mate.

They would've known within hours of the final whistle. It took 10 days before an "American doctor" saw him? In BOSTON? Coincidently the part of the States where both the owners of Whingerpool and their kit makers, New Balance, are based. Sorry, this is PR gone mad...

Ramos has absolutely owned them today

'They've given this a lot of attention, the Salah thing ... I didn't want to speak because everything is magnified,' Ramos said, according to AS.

'I see the play well, he grabs my arm first and I fell to the other side, the injury happened to the other arm and they said that I gave him a judo hold.

'After the goalkeeper (Karius) said that I dazed him with a clash with me I am only missing Firmino saying that he got a cold because of a drop of my sweat.
