Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

I'd argue Pool has not had a brilliant team in quite some time. I would agree Klopp did bring a better spirit to the team.

My issues with Klopp is simple

- Pool's only goal is to win the league, it has been proven a dozen times over, you can't win the league by needing to score 3 or 4 goals to win games (because you concede every game).
- Their tactic is just bum rush the opposition (same as it was Rodgers) with a long ball to diagonal winger, overload the box with runners

What everyone has figured out is if you sit back, they have no tactic (can't hit behind you, can't press if they have the ball), and they simply don't have good enough creative players to break sides down if those sides don't come out and stretch themselves.

I fully expect Conte to hurt them badly, sit back, make them overcommit and crucify them on counter.

It appears going out of both cups was all part of the grand plan to leave them with less games to concentrate on hunting down Chelsea. Starting tomorrow when they are going to bring them down to earth...apparantly.
Didnt like to ask where losing at home to Swansea comes into it..:D

Klopps Liverpool team are like his Dortmund team (except less likeable) IMO. They can be exhilarating going forward but it's a style that over commits to the attck and leaves them exposed at the back. Some days it looks fantastic and other times tactically naive.

I think Chelsea's style will not suit them at all. They sit and hit you on the break and Liverpool will play right into their hands.

I have been browsing RAWK, I came across this classic...

None if this stuff is barely fudging mentioned either, or if it is mentioned it's largely laughed off. You can guarantee that if we get anything, anything, go our way on Tuesday they won't shut up about it for weeks. Costa can do his usual stampy stuff, Hazard will control the ball, turn his back on the nearest player and then bellyflop when they get within 40cm, Cahill will do his usual impression of a volleyball player and barely anything will be said. One of our lads gets the ball kicked at his hand from a few inches away and they'll be on about the ref missing a "blatant" handball.

I admire how they get their excuses in early. So when they lose 4 in a row at home for the first time in 90 years, it won't be Klopp's fault but a conspiracy by referees/FA/media/The Illuminati/the Jews or anyone else the old school racists wackos at Anfield would like to blame.

I'm not sure I'd like them to lose. That would (should) make them even more fired up for their next home game...against us. If they avoid defeat, at least there won't be pressure on them to avoid a fifth consecutive home loss.

That said, I wouldn't mind them losing both home games, but I'm not sure I trust us to win after they've lost four in a row.

Hadn't even thought of that; good point...

What amazes me is how any Pool fan can claim to be hard done by. Ever. Even if they are only 10 and missed the 30 years when they got every decision at Anfield and often beyond for being the giants of the 70s and the 80s, there is still the last-minute penalty almost guaranteed week in week out if things aren't going as the Kop wants. Unbelievable.

This mornings Comedy Gold from work

2 liverpool fans chatting, it appears an injury to either Hazard or Mata, and Liverpool win their remaining 15 games!!! and the title is theirs

(Didnt like to tell them the obvious)

Oh and yes, Chelsea are just like Tottenham, but without the flair. Didnt know how to take that

Honestly, wtf ... is there something in the water?

so many things wrong with that statement ...

Luckily I had just put my drink down. I am not joking, it truly is hilarious at times.

The biggest problem I have is the fudging media play along ... stupid fans be stupid fans ..

All this season, the pundits list their title contenders and put Pool there and not us .. what fudging version of the world do they live in? The only time in the last 7 years Pool finished above us, they had the in form striker in the world playing for them, and even then, they couldn't finish the job.

Outside of a complete fluke season (which arguably we had one last season), what would make anyone think Pool starts a season or even at half way point, is/as a legitimate title contender? Someone could argue the Scum are not title contenders, and their results/consistency is leagues above Pool ...
